In the summer, we posted our 21 Day Fix approved Grilled Pork Chops Marinade. For the rest of the year, this WONDERFULLY TASTY crockpot recipe is a favorite in the Vukmirovich household. The sweet and savory flavors of the marinade mix fantastically. The prep is simple and cooking time isn’t that long. We hope you try it and see how awesome healthy can be!
- 2 lbs Boneless regular cut Pork Chops (or Pork Loin)
- 1/2 Cup Raw Organic Honey
- 2 tbs chopped garlic (or 2 cloves)
- 3 tbs Bragg’s Liquid Aminos (or Low-Sodium Soy Sauce)
- 1 tbs Dried Oregano
- 1 tbs Dried Basil
- 2/3 cup Shredded Parmesan (optional)
Mix together honey, garlic, Bragg’s, oregano, and basil in a 2 cup mixing cup. Place pork chops into crock pot. Pour mixture over chops and coat each chop thoroughly. Cook on low for 2-3 hours stirring occasionally if possible. Pour parmesan over just prior to serving. 4 chops equal approximately 4 servings.
Please take note: If you overcook this pork, it will be dry. Be careful. This last time we cooked it for about 4 hours on low, and it was done and a little dry. If you use a whole (uncut) hunk of pork, you have a better chance of it not drying out, but using chops will help distribute the flavor. If you wind up with dry pork, just chop it up, put it back in the juices and let it rest for a while. It will still have AMAZING flavor!
