3 Quick Tips for Getting Started in ANY Fitness Program

Essential to the success of ANY fitness program is GETTING STARTED properly. Here are a few quick tips to help if you are considering getting started, no matter what program you decide to go with:

1.
DRILL IN ON YOUR “WHY” – Everyone needs to have a compelling WHY to fend off the very power WHY-NOTS. The more specific and emotionally driven your WHY is, the better your chance to pushing through when the going gets tough. My WHY is pretty simple and if you care to see, it’s this

FOLLOW A SET PROGRAM – Too many people decide to get in shape and maybe decide to “start running” (how many times have I said that?). And not that running is bad, but consider following a specific running program. The

3. HAVE SUPPORT – Whether in a group or just a workout/nutrition partner, having the support of another person makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. Simply having to let another person know that you “got it done” or “planned ahead” can be a game changer.
