BBQ Chicken Pita

This tangy lunch-time treat is a healthy way to get your taste buds humming. Any time of year, whether grilled or rotisserie chicken, this one is a crowd favorite!

Ingredients
  • 1 6 1/2 in whole wheat pita
  • 2 tbsp Low Sugar BBQ sauce Stubb's Original Bar-B-Q Sauce is a good one
  • 2 tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped rotisserie chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp chopped red onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro optional

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro optional
Instructions
  1. 1. Preheat ove to 350º
  2. 2. Place pita on baking sheet. top with BBQ Sauce, cheese, chicken and onion
  3. 3. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted
  4. 4. Sprinkle with cilantro; serve immediately
Recipe Notes

Options for less carbs: slice pita in half or use a cauliflower crust
