This is a SUPER simple and VERY tasty turkey chili recipe that the whole family will enjoy! Prep takes less than 10 minutes. Throw it all into the slow cooker and enjoy when you’re ready. Optionally, you can double the recipe to have leftovers for a few days. Makes eating healthy EASY!
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. lean ground turkey
15 oz. (1 can) fire-roasted tomatoes
1 cup frozen corn
1/2 onion diced
15 oz. (1 can) black beans
15 oz. (1 can) chili beans
14 oz. (1 can) kidney beans
6 0z. (one small can) tomato paste
2 tsp. Lisa’s Taco Seasoning
1 tsp. molasses
4 oz. low fat shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
PREPARATION:
Brown turkey with 1/2 chopped onion. Drain and discard any fat. Place all ingredients except cheese into slow cooker. Cook 4 hours on low or 2 hours on high. Top with 1 oz. cheese, if desired. Optionally serve over Quinoa or brown rice.
